WHO IT’S FOR
This upgrade is designed for intermediate to advanced sim racers using Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Ultimate from 2014 to 2021 who want more precise braking control and modern software tuning. It is especially valuable for drivers focused on trail braking, consistency, and dialing in pedal feel across different cars and sims.
KEY FEATURES
The Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Ultimate Upgrade Kit introduces a SmartControl compatible controller, allowing full access to Heusinkveld’s configuration software for precise input tuning. The included elastomer brake system replaces the original setup with a more refined rubber stack, improving modulation and consistency under load. A knurled preload adjustment knob makes it easy to change brake stiffness without disassembly. Updated slide bearings and rod joints reduce friction and improve long term durability. The kit also includes essential tools, spare parts, and detailed installation guidance through printed schematics and online resources. The Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Ultimate Upgrade Kit focuses on meaningful performance improvements while retaining the original pedal structure.

REAL-WORLD USE / EXPERIENCE
This upgrade changes how the brake pedal feels immediately. Instead of a basic resistance curve, the elastomer stack creates a progressive, pressure based feel that is easier to control under heavy braking. Trail braking becomes more predictable, and muscle memory builds faster because the pedal response stays consistent. SmartControl access allows you to fine tune input curves and dead zones based on the car you are driving, giving you more control across different sims. The added hardware improvements reduce friction and unwanted play, making each input feel more direct and repeatable during long sessions.
We provide printed schematics / exploded views with the Upgrade Kit. These schematics and an installation video giving further guidance on the installation can also be found in our Support section.
